Berlin Touchdown.

Two weeks ago I re-located to Berlin - still very fresh. I have a great studio through Culturia artist in residence program, so now busy working on my next show - developing the concept of comics as installation.

Also just updated my website with images from the last couple of shows that I had in Melbourne...

pimp my ride - toot my horn

my new comic sup-ho#2 'vigl' got reviewed on tom spurgeons site comics reporter and it was thoughful and quite complementary.... which is nice. You'll have to search around in the April 14th blog archive on the site to find it i don't know how long it stays up. Be quick.

my deal breaker....

i made a record cover for the pumice / kraus combination supergroup olympus and the record label didn't like it (not in keeping with their 'look') and the lads dug their heels in and said no we want the cover and the label said no deal and the lads said alright then no deal..... so heres the image that sunk a deal. joy!…

Phatsville 15

I was thrilled to be asked to do the above cover for Phatsville Comix 15, An underground comic anthology from Brisbane.

What have been your personal cartooning/comics highlights of 2012? I went to the Australian Cartoonists Association's Stanley Awards weekend for the very first time. I had to crowd fund in order to get there, but it was really fun. I got to meet a lot of heroes of mine and they turned out to be genuinely nice people.
