I just wanted everyone here to know that I'm doing a comic-a-day blog and I'll be doing it for a year. It's an effort to get myself into the mindset of being a Graphic Novelist. The blog will document my efforts in writing a Graphic Novel as well as my daily life.<br />

Wellllll, here goes for my first attempt at true blogging.<br />

I've just finished quite a slog of boring commissioned artwork for unappreciative clients. But now I'm done and I'm doing my <b>OWN STUFF!</b> First thing is a one page comic that's going in the University's Medical journal, <i>Centaur</i>. I helped out with the cover and for payment, I got a full page in the magazine to do whatever I wanted with.<br />

This is a true story. I think I had all these ideals about what it would be like to draw actual human muscles from life. I wasn't prepared for the visceral nature of the whole thing. Bleh. I'll stick to the textbooks from now on.
