Here's an article comparing various social networking systems.
It seems Ning is the lazy man's answer, and quite popular... for the moment.

As per our Del.icio.us linklog, I think a separate YouTube account could be set up for video. (Items can be uploaded directly to the page, but ultimately that will cost hosting money.)

The way it's set up now is that anyone can join.
I am hoping to keep it mainly by comics creators for comics creators.
If there's an influx of superhero loving fanboys, maybe I'll have to set some ground rules for discussion & membership. Where do we draw the line?

This site allows us to write blogs and provides us an RSS feed.
Most people I know already have a blog.

I wonder/hope there is some way existing feeds could be added into their comicslifestyle home page. (Probably via the '3rd party widget' box each person has on their homepage.

Can some bright techie advise?? That would really be awesome.

Can some bright techie advise?? That would really be awesome. Why music on a comix site?tag:www.comicslifestyle.com,2007-07-07:864783:Topic:252007-07-07T17:37:30.000ZJohn Weekshttp://www.comicslifestyle.com/profile/jinjablogger
Most of us comicists have a strong connection to music. We encourage you to share what you're listening to. Most of my cartoonist friends are in bands.

(Hmm, maybe we could split off a playlist for band that our comix pals are in.)

In this site though, the comics are the stars. There are other places to worship musicians.
